Some would call them crazy but there are groups who actually start running at 5 am. Several doctors ride their bikes to work making their commute easy and pollution free. And, you can easily play golf on several different courses.

New Castle’s premier Baker Park features a $3 million Aquatic Center which is ever so much more than “just a pool”. It features a special wet deck, water toys, beach-like entry and more. Also on site are the F.U.N playground, bask etball and tennis courts, shuffle board and regulation horse shoe pits.

Library and Arts Center

It’s not unusual to see families and individuals who use the library all the time. From checking out the latest best sellers, audio books or movies, using an array of library computers or bringing your own to the free Wi-Fi spot to visiting the well-used children’s area the New Castle-Henry County Public Library is a vastly popular, local favorite. Henry County YMCA

One of New Castle’s crown jewels, the Henry County YMCA provides programs for all ages and skill levels. Built through an extensive community fund raising program, there is something for every age and interest in this modern, well-equipped building.

Pre-schoolers can attend nursery school and programs such as pre-school aquatics.

Members can work out or participate in programs in the building while the free Child Watch services provides up to 2 hours of child care.

Softball, basketball, volleyball and martial arts are some of the favorite adult leagues and programs.

Youth programs range from soccer, volleyball and basketball leagues to martial arts, swimming and day camps.

Hamilton Town Center
