Marion Health announced the launch of its new Family Medicine Residency Program, designed to cultivate the next generation of compassionate and skilled family physicians. Under the leadership of their dedicated Program Director, Raúl H, Zambrano, MD, this program offers a comprehensive educational experience that emphasizes patient-centered care, holistic treatment, and community engagement.
The residency program is full for their first class, quickly filling all six slots. This makes the 17th family medicine residency program in the state and the first non-tertiary SHO member to develop a residency program.
